You place your mark and decide in which row or column the other person has to play next. Whoever first has three in a row wins. (Detailed rules at the very bottom)
Set up the game
Rules and controls
You take turns with your marks (X and O) on a board with columns (A, B, C ...) and rows (1, 2, 3 ...).
Whoever starts places a mark in any square.
After that, the person who has just played chooses a row or a column. The next person has to place a mark exactly there.
With three players the triangle is added as the third mark. You take turns (1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 ...), and the person who has just played always chooses the line for the next one.
Whoever first has three of their own marks in a row wins. The row can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
If the board is full and nobody has three in a row, the game ends in a draw.
Controls: first tap or click a square and confirm with “Place”. With a mouse, a double-click places the mark straight away. After that, one tap on a letter or number is enough to choose the column or row. It is marked in the colour of the person who plays next. With the keyboard, choose squares with the arrow keys and place with Enter.
