The shape already has a thick outline. Only lines inside are drawn, exactly one per turn.
Whoever closes a box completely with a line wins that box. It gets that person’s mark (X, O or, with three players, the triangle).
Whoever has won a box must draw another line. If one line closes two boxes at once, that person wins both.
With three players you take turns (1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3 ...). The game is over when all lines have been drawn. Whoever has the most boxes wins. If there is a tie for the most boxes, the game is a draw.
